# Overview, login, and dashboard

> Screenshots use representative demo data captured from a live environment. Do not use real customer records, secrets, or payment keys in a public demo.

A guided introduction to the web portal: secure sign-in, the dashboard command centre and its KPIs, the navigation shell, notifications, language/theme controls, and secure password maintenance.

## What ColorsX74 ERP is

A single browser workspace that runs the whole business — finance, sales, purchasing, contracts, inventory, operations — on one shared data model, extended through signed marketplace add-ons. It is organised by *business area*, not technical subsystem. The same core powers a desktop client and an API; this documentation covers the web portal.

## Signing in

- **What.** Email-and-password sign-in with self-service reset; SSO is supported where configured.
- **How.** Enter email and password and submit; on success you land on the dashboard. Use the SSO option if your org has it, or the reset link if you forget your password.
- **Wisely.** In demos use a dedicated demo account only, never a real user's; never show the password.

## The dashboard — your business at a glance

- **What.** The landing command centre: a *Financial Overview* row (revenue, expenses, net profit, overdue invoices with total value) and an *Operations* row (pending orders, active contracts, active rentals), plus cards for budgets, CRM pipeline, exhibition rentals, recurring invoices, a Top Overdue list, and a Revenue Trend chart.
- **How.** Read left-to-right, top-to-bottom; the period indicator (top-right) shows the month. Each tile leads into its module.
- **Wisely.** Use it to decide where to spend the next ten minutes, then drill in. Empty/zero tiles in a fresh tenant are not errors. Open it first in a demo to set the "one cockpit" frame.

## The navigation shell and toolbar

- **What.** A persistent left nav grouped into *Main* (Dashboard, ARIA, Doc Scanner), *Modules* (Contacts, Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Contracts, Inventory, plus enabled add-ons), and *System* (Approvals, Webhooks, Marketplace, Companies, Database Manager, Settings). A toolbar shows current company, connection status, help, language, theme, and notifications.
- **How.** Navigation is one click from anywhere. Switch language (English, العربية, Español, Français), toggle light/dark theme, and switch the active company from the toolbar.
- **Wisely.** The module list reflects what is *enabled* for your org — a missing add-on is a cue to talk about the marketplace. Arabic reflows the whole shell RTL: a strong localisation talking point.

## Notifications

- **What.** The toolbar bell opens an in-app panel of approvals, reminders, and background-job results.
- **How.** Click the bell, read items, follow one through to its record.
- **Wisely.** Treat it as a queue — clear it by acting, not dismissing.

## Account security — changing your password

- **What.** An authenticated self-service change-password screen.
- **How.** Enter current password, then the new one twice; the org password policy is enforced.
- **Wisely.** Prefer self-service rotation over admin resets; never display real passwords in a demo.
